Open to absolute beginners and skilled artists alike. 

This event offers the opportunity to draw real life nude models in a relaxed environment. Grab a drink at the bar and head over to our private room where you will be given a choice of materials to try out, and a new male or female life model to draw at each event.

Session will start with 
3 x 5 min poses with exercises to get your sketching style nice and loose  
2 x 20 min poses 
- a short break - 
then 30 mins, 
And a final 5 min poses 


What your host has to say: "I give you permission for your sketches to look absolutely rubbish. To look nothing like the life model you will have in front of you. What's important is the creative flow it will provide. The chance to make marks, try different mediums and be in the moment." Jessa 

All materials will be provided however if you have a sketch book you wish to use or materials you love to draw with please feel free to bring them along. 

Make a night out of it and arrive early to grab a lovely dinner at the bar before the event.

We have previously attended the sunflower painting workshop, where I was surprised that it actually turned out looking like a sunflower. But painting your pet sounded pretty difficult in comparison but we decided to give it a go. The step by step instructions were great, lots of tips and tricks and the end result was a paint, done by me that actually looked like my dog! I couldn’t believe it. I would like to take all the credit but it was really Kirsty with her patience, chilled was of teaching and amazing skills. Thank you!

I consider myself a “senior guest” due several participation, for first time I give you less than five stars due the material suppled.
Can’t make the jelly fish in so small canvas, the  brush are too big to make some details like reference. I don’t mind pay few pounds more for right canvas, please add canvas size on the next advisement . 
Teacher was good, we had fun but feel frustrating that in last year change canvas size in all class, yesterday was worse…

This was my 6th event because  I absolutely love attending them! I've completed the dragonfly, bumblebee, flamingo, whale, sunflower & last night the jellyfish. 
These events have provided me with a new hobby & love for being creative. I now paint my own paintings at home, using the time for relaxation, creativity, wellbeing & embracing my innerchild. 
I proudly display my paintings on the wall of my stairs. Everyone sees them & they bring smiles to people's faces. 
I cannot wait to develop my skills next year where I am aiming for an event once a month!

What a lovely evening of painting. Rhian was welcoming and supportive and took us through step-by-step on how to create something that we would feel proud of by the end of the session. It's true what they say, you don't need any great ability - trust the process. The only small niggle would be that the quiz next door was unnecessarily loud and to some this may spoil the atmosphere of a relaxing class. Overall though, amazing!

Having been to a few evenings myself and having a daughter who is a budding artist, I was excited to see that kids sessions were being offered for the summer holidays. Being one of the youngest, I wasn’t sure how my daughter would get on but she had a great morning and is very proud of the painting she has created. The teacher went at a good pace and her instructions and modelling was clear for the children to follow. My only criticism is in relation to the parents who decided to stand on the room and talk loudly as they made it difficult to hear at times but this was obviously no fault of the artist or organisers. I really hope that sessions like these are offered in other school holidays as my daughter would love to go back and do more!
